I'm Zeid Alsayid, a filmmaker based in the UAE, working across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. For more than nine years I've been shooting cinematic visuals for brands, government entities and major events.
I started in 2016, studied film and photography in Turkey, and spent four years making ads for brands across Istanbul and Mersin, where I learned to carry an idea all the way from the brief to the final export.
In Dubai I led video for ArabStock, directing large national productions and delivering more than 25,000 clips about Emirati life and culture. Today I work as a filmmaker with production partners on projects for Formula 1, GITEX, Aldar and Digital Dubai.
I light, shoot and grade my own work, and I use AI where it makes the film better, never to fake it. When I'm not on set, I teach: more than 5,000 people have learned filmmaking with me, online and in person.

5,000+ trainees.
Since 2019 I've taught cinematography, lighting and post-production on Zoom and in workshops across the UAE, Turkey and Syria, including Cinema from the Rooftops, a mobile filmmaking workshop built for places with few resources.
